the power of letter writing

The Power of Letter Writing allows you to see each word and phrase, the way a painting allows you to put words to the story depicted – this art form emphasizes the beauty and history of the written word. One important benefit of calligraphy that is becoming more recognized these days, is the meditative action of creation. It is a skill that requires great patience, and in practicing patience, we find ourselves letting go of the chatter in our minds and focusing all our energies on the task at hand.

Businesses often develop sales letters, business proposals and invitations to business events, and send to their business partners or clients. Business letters are the cheapest and most extensive form of communication all over the world. In addition, the arrangement of the form and style of business letters, has made them more famous and acceptable by everyone.

A well formatted business letter can convey a sense of professionalism to your clients, especially, if it is printed on quality paper and neatly folded. This lets your client know that you took the time to draft the letter carefully, even before he reads the content. A business letter, therefore, acts as a representative of the company. It also motivates all the people involved in a business to a higher and better level of performance.

Letter writing can be seen as a gift because someone has taken his/her time to write and think and express love.

Process, patience, persistence… these are words lost today. Letter writing is one of the few crafts where we can actively develop these skills in ourselves. Letter writing helps us prioritise what actually matters in life and who we spend it with.

And again, we want it to be exciting! We hope that our participants of all ages really have a blast with it because no matter the age, we truly believe in the power of letter writing and the power of just slowing down and allowing a full range of expression to shine through.

Grab a pen and some paper and get to writing. Write a note to a friend telling them how much you appreciate them or send a thank you note to someone! The content doesn’t have to be fancy, it just has to be from you. Though it may be a lost art, letter writing will never go out of style.
